Olson AM-253 stereo integrated vacuum-tube amplifier dating to circa 1965. Its brushed-metal control panel incorporates input selection, balance, volume, separate bass and treble controls for each channel, stereo and monaural function settings, rumble filter, loudness, speaker and headphone selection, and a front headphone jack. The open metal chassis carries seven tubes, multiple transformers, rear speaker terminals, and RCA audio connections. Published specifications for the AM-253 rate its output at 15 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 25 kHz and support for speaker loads from 4 to 16 ohms. The listed tube complement is two 12AX7, four 6BM8, and one 6CA4.
