(California Adventure, 2000s) An original wooden railing finial from Avalon Cove Bar at Disney's California Adventure Park. Before Ariel's Grotto, the Avalon Cove offered seaside family dining with Disney Characters, with twisting gold-toned and weather resistant enameled finials like this one enhancing the rails along Paradise Pier until their eventual removal a few years after opening. These original wooden finials were replaced with more durable molded versions. Measuring 6.5" in diameter and 8.25" tall, the prop exhibits minor wear from Park-use, and a thin 1.25" radial crack along the base.
