Cal. 410, 3". S# H6322. Bbls. 28" dovetailed, fitted w/ game rib, engraved "A. Allan. Glasgow". Bbl. flats are stamped w/ old Birmingham proofs & 1999 reproofs for 3" chambers. Rnd. bodied top lever action is fitted w/ isolated back spring locks w/ sm. serpentine hammers. Action & locks are engraved w/ 40% scroll. "A. Allan" is on each lockplate. Sm. bow trigger guard w/ scroll on bow has S# on tang. Nicely fiddle figured, lightly marbled European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14 3/8" over ribbed horn buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip & a vacant silver oval is on toeline. Matching splinter forend w/ shaped metal tip, has spring tension release. Bore diameters at muzzles: left - .400, choke .010 ? (mod), right - .410, choke .000 ? (cyl). Wall thickness: left - .030, right - .025. DAC: 1 3/8". DAH: 2 5/16". Cast approx. 1/4" off. LOP: 14 3/8". WEIGHT: 4 lbs. 4 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: custom made oak & dark leather case is lined in burgundy felt & is in excellent condition. CONDITION: nicely refurbished. Bbls. have nearly all of a fine quality reblue. Action cleaned to silver gray w/ some pinprick pitting & areas on left side of action somewhat etched. Engraving on trigger guard picked up. Stocks lightly refinished in oil w/ some light marks. Flat top checkering recut. Bores are bright & shiny. Action is tight. Locks strong. Top tang is broken just forward of tang screw.
