1) EUROPEAN PERCUSSION MUSKET. Cal. 71. NSN. Bbl. shortened to 17 1/2". Unmarked bbl. & lock. Hardwood stock & iron ramrod are cut to corresponding length. Iron fittings & single bbl. bands. CONDITION: metal has dark patina appearance w/ heavy pitting in breech area. Stock has added finish over wear & handling marks w/ marks & chips around buttplate, sideplate & lock areas. Stock is broken at wrist w/ screw type repair. Dark pitted bore. (01-17398/DS). 2) OTTOMAN EMPIRE MIQUELET MUSKET. Cal. about 45. NSN. Bbl. 49" oct. to rnd. w/ flared muzzle. Unmarked iron lock. Full length hardwood stock is held by 6 iron bands. 10" Tip section & forward band are missing. Flared bone buttplate w/ iron heel, toe plates w/ straps that extend to top tang & trigger guard. CONDITION: metal has clean gray appearance w/ pitting & surface corrosion Stock has numerous cracks along forearm, action & butt area. Action area has added iron plates making repairs. Bone buttplate is cracked at heel. Dark pitted bore. (01-17399/DS). BOTH ANTIQUE. $250-500.
