SERIAL 294460. BARREL 4 3/4". CALIBER 38-40 Letter states gun was shipped on May 23, 1907 in shipment of 3 to the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company , Bisbee Arizona Territory. "The Copper Queen Mine was a copper mine in Cochise County, Arizona, United States. Its development led to the growth of the surrounding town of Bisbee in the 1880s. Its ore body ran 23% copper, an extraordinarily high grade. It was acquired by Phelps Dodge in 1885." The gun was shipped as a 38-40, 4 3/4" barrel in blue and case color. Gun has been completely restored and retains nearly all of the reapplied finish. The grips are later plastic eagle style. Cylinder rod is not Colt. Rifling is strong but grooves are frosted. C&R
