Cal. 45 Colt. S# 3978SC. Bbl. 7 1/2" w/ blade front sight & square notched rear. Mfg. 1964 (0001SC to 5000SC) to celebrate 150 years of Colt. Left side of bbl. & unfluted cyl. both marked “COL. SAML COLT” along w/ “1814” & “1964”. Right side of bbl. marked “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45”. Royal blue finish w/ nickel plated trigger guard, back strap, ejector rod head, all screws, unfluted scroll engraved cyl., plus cyl. pin & latch. Smooth dark walnut grips w/ silver medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: stained pine display case w/ Colt logo engraved on top of lid. Dark red interior having shadow line cut out in base covered w/ corduroy. Underside of lid is matching satin w/ gold rampant Colt. Near excellent interior; exterior w/ many scratches & marks. CONDITION: very good plus appearance w/ cyl. turn line, faint firing residue & scratches on left side of bbl. near front sight plus bottom of back strap. Balance of finish, grips, bore & chambers are near excellent. (20-687/NW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
