Cal. 44-40. S# 340686. Bbl. 5 1/2" bbl. Top of bbl. is marked w/ Colt Co. address. Left side of bbl. marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER 44-40". Black checkered hard rubber grips. Mfg. October 15, 1920. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: authenticity factory letter provided with gun from company. CONDITION: good; bbl. retains most of original blue w/ minor muzzle wear. Ejector housing is worn w/ blend of gray & brown patina. Frame has dark original case colors visible in protected areas. Cyl. has original blue w/ faint turn ring wear on front edge. Bore is good w/ minor scattered thinning. Colt grips are very good. (19-4339/BT). CURIO. $3,000-5,000.
