Cal. 45 ACP. S# 31647-NM. Bbl. 5". Mfg. 1968 w/ period correct features including beveled face of spring plug & corresponding mating bevel on bbl. bushing. Flat grooved mainspring housing, grooved front strap, spur hammer & skeletonized NM trigger. Slide has square cut cocking grooves plus grooved raised rib having Patridge front sight & Elliason rear. Fully checkered walnut grips w/ gold Colt medallions. MAGS: 1 very good reblued 7 rd. w/ matte base area. Brazed repair on edge of floorplate marked w/ rampant Colt, "M" & "COLT / 45 AUTO". CONDITION: all aspects near excellent w/ non factory refinish. Distinct plum hue to slide sides plus all of pistol more polished than if by Colt; especially noticeable on bbl. bushing, slide stop, thumb safety, bbl. plus sides of hammer & trigger. Grips have appearance of extra finish applied. Near excellent bore. (20-613/NW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
