Cal. 45 ACP. S# 1112655. Bbl. 5" marked above left leg w/ "COLT 45 AUTO" (correct Type 6), "P" on leg. Mfg. 1943 w/ correct Coltwood lg. ring Type 7 grips & matching numbered slide. All other features correct for model including sights & coarse checkered arched mainspring housing (per J.C. Harrison reference guide). MAGS: 1 near excellent parkerized Scovill 7 rd. but not "C-S" marked for Colt. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent U.S. marked Avery 1942 dbl. canvas mag pouch. CONDITION: overall near excellent w/ some very sm. flaws; occasional light mark such as from improper slide stop installation & wear from dust cover rubbing on front of slide. A very nice 1943 Colt w/ near excellent bore & grips. (20-1202/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
