Cal. 45 ACP. S# 604793. Bbl. 5". Mfg. 1919 as part of Army contract. All correct features for model except earlier safety tab w/ milled undercut & Type 4 bbl. used before S# 450000. Does not have "H" provisional acceptance mark on frame. "S5" proof & "8" assembly # at lower left of trigger guard. Slide has dark blued finish & frame has faded black parkerized finish. Commercial replacement dbl. diamond walnut grips. MAGS: 1 fair Ridson 7 rd. CONDITION: good overall mismatched appearance; frame appears original finish w/ thinning in grip area & at some high points. Slide sits slightly forward on frame w/ refinish over some light pitting near muzzle. Noticeably light trigger pull yet hammer does not follow slide. Very good grips w/ some diamond top wear on left. Good to very good bore w/ frosting. Mag. housing pin is in the white. (19-5988/NW). CURIO. $900-1,400.
