Cal. 45 ACP. S# 109929. Bbl. 5". Mfg. 1915 as part of 500 piece contract shipped to Brooklyn Navy Yard for Naval Militia. Special Navy & USMC contracts from 1915-1918 yet only this model has Navy marked slide. Frame has circled "GHS" inspector initials & "H" provisional acceptance mark (also on slide). Later Colt Type 6 bbl. w/ "G" in front of lugs plus later checkered slidelock w/out milling cut; all aspects correct to pistol. MAGS: 1 very good WWII General Shaver 7 rd. w/ deep swedged pins of Singer style but w/ normal spot welded seam at spine. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1 Colt refinished coin style key chain 3 point screw driver. CONDITION: good plus overall appearance as refinished w/all markings especially well preserved. Typical hand & holster wear throughout. Matching exterior bbl. wear w/ very good to excellent bore. Good plus grips w/ medium diamond top wear. (20-345/NW). CURIO. $2,500-4,000.
