COLT MODEL 1873 SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER
CIVILIAN ISSUE. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 105334. Bbl. 7 1/2". Blue & case color finish, 1 piece walnut grip. Bbl. has 1 line Hartford address, full front sight. Frame has 3 line Colt patent on left side w/ “45 CAL” on forward left bow of trigger guard. S# matches on frame, trigger guard, backstrap & last 4 digits of S# found on bbl. & cyl. This Peacemaker was made in 1884 & survived w/ good aesthetics. CONDITION: good to very good. Strong traces of finish on protected areas of bbl., ejector housing & frame. Overall a smooth mottled gray patina. Markings are all discernible. Grips are well fit, not numbered & appear to be replacements. Mechanics are fine. Bore is frosted w/ good rifling. (01-17253/JS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
