Cal. 44. S# 179821. Bbl. 8" in the standard configuration w/ one line address. Made in 1869 near the end of production of Colt Percussion firearms. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: modern wood case w/ a reproduction powder flask & two cavity mold, along w/ about 20 loose 44 cal. balls. CONDITION: fair overall. Bbl. frame & trigger guard have matching serial numbers, backstrap has re-engraved matching serial number, last three digits of serial number are seen on cyl., grips are heavily sanded & poorly fit, heavy muzzle wear, metal has been cleaned & recolored being an overall patchy gray/black w/ pitting, mechanics are sluggish w/ heavily pitted rifled bore. Case & accessories are good. (01-17405/JS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
