Cal. 38-40. S# 6658. Bbl. 22" rnd. Replacement ivory bead front sight w/ replacement U notch rear sight missing elevator. 2/3 Length tubular mag. 2 Piece walnut pump handle has added deep hand cut grooves over some smooth remaining checkering. Straight grip walnut stock w/ steel buttplate has added arrow & dot inlays on left side w/ semi circular wood inserts held by tacks behind action. Mfg. 1885. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to a light gray brown showing scattered spots of surface corrosion. Sanded & refinished stock & forearm have age darkened appearance w/ numerous dents & handling marks. Dark pitted bore w/ worn rifling. (01-17420/DS). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
