Cal. 45 Colt. S# 48891 (frame). Blue & color case hardened w/ 5 1/2" bbl., thinned front sight & 1 line block letter address. Left side of frame has 3-line, 3 patent dates & "U.S". Mounted w/ reproduction 1-pc wood grips. Frame is numbered "48891". Trigger guard is numbered "19499" & buttstrap number not readable & was polished out. Cyl. has number “0624 w/ inspection “P” & bbl. is 7581 w/ inspection “P”. Ejector housing has crescent style ejector rod head & has dimpled ends to arbor. CONDITION: good overall as refinished, brown/gray patina overall. Mechanically fine w/ pitted rifled bore. (01-17274/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500.
