Cal. 45 Colt. S# 321141. Bbl. 5 1/2". Top of bbl. marked "P. T. F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A.". Left side of bbl. is marked "45 Colt". Checkered black hard rubber grips. Bottom of grip stamped "W. F. & Co.". This marking is referring being owned by the Wells Fargo Co. although not listed in factory letter. Mfg. January 12, 1912. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter dated December 19, 1990 identifying gun as a 5 1/2"; shipped to Simons Hardware in St. Louis, MO. in a shipment of 2 guns. CONDITION: very good; bbl. retains 85% of original blue w/ minor wear at muzzle & ejector housing. Cyl. has good original blue w/ minor wear on front edge & sharp edge of flutes plus a light drag line. Frame has strong original case colors w/ areas of minor thinning. Hammer has very good original colors on side. Grip frame has worn & faded to a gray patina. Grips are very good. Mechanics very good w/ a strong bore. (19-4337/BT). CURIO. $3,000-5,000.
