Cal. 44 S# 21040. Probably the most popular DA Martial revolver of the Civil War, this is a nice example w/ good aesthetics in standard configuration w/ 6" bbl. having crisp address & patent dates on either side of frame. Grips are nicely cartouched. CONDITION: very good overall. All matching. Metal retains 10% blue finish w/ balance plum/gray. Grips are fine & well fit w/ minor edge wear & a few sm. cosmetic blemishes. Grip exhibits 3 well defined inspector cartouches. Mechanically fine w/ bright shiny rifled bore.
