CIS-Maler Kotla, Ahmad Ali Khan (AH 1326-1366 /1908-1947 AD), Silver Rupee, "Qadir-e Bechun" Couplet, In the name of Ahmad Shah Durrani, Obv: Persian legend "hukm shud az Qadir-e-Bechun ba Ahmad Badshah, Sikka-e-Zan bar seem-o-zar az auj mahi ta bamah" Rev: Persian legend "Nawab Bahadur Ahmad Ali Khan" with 2 dots above swad, 10.70g, 18.08mm, (Unlisted Type in KM/Saran & Dalwinder # MK 95a), no test mark, about very fine, Rare.
Note: The only ruler who was allowed to use his name on coins was Nawab Muhammad Ali Khan Bahadur. It is worth noting that all previous rulers have used Ahmad Shah Durrani's legends on the reverse of their coins.
