SERIAL NUMBER: 2506. BARRELS: 27-1/2". CALIBER: 16 GAUGE/9.3 CAL. MANUFACTURED: 1930'S. Made pre Nazi era, with commercial proofs on the barrel and frame area. Barrel rib is marked "GEBR. PRAUNSMANDTL, JNGOLSTADT". Right side of the shotgun chamber area is marked "FLUSSSTAHL KRUPP ESSLN". Solid, matted rib with blade front sight and fixed express u-notch rear. Original blued finish, with fine game scene engraving on the frame. Finely oiled wood stock, with sharp checkering on the wrist and forearm. Adjustable double triggers. Tang Safety. Horn trigger guard and butt plate. No bullet trap on the butt. Original small, European style sling swivels. Includes a later production Browning brown leatherette case, with keys. Bore looks to be choked at full. LOP is: 14". CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with the barrel areas forming an all natural patina. Frame shows no signs of cleaning or polish. Wood has very lightly sanded and oiled at some point, and has a few minor handling marks and scratches. Solid fore arm, with no visible cracks. Shotgun bore has a few minor pits near the muzzle. Rifle bidding has pits, with good overall rifling retained. Mechanically good. Case has minor handling marks and wear. Some oxidation on the brass hardware. C&R
