9 1/4" Blade Bowie style knife by Case. Knife marked on left ricasso "CASE XX USA 1836". Tip has etched portrait of frontiersman holding bowie knife. Blade has brass guard along back. Brass guard. Composite one piece bird's head type grip secured w/ 3 brass rivets. Leather sheath marked "CASE" w/ brass reinforced tip & edges. CONDITION: blade is in good condition w/ light handling marks. Grips have scattered scratches throughout. Rear rivet is missing head on right side. Scabbard has scattered scratches & handling marks, but in good serviceable condition. (02-13610/RW). $100-150.
