Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1862. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate, tang marked 27/302 27th Battalion St Clair Borderers, right side of stock has Enfield roundel with large C with double broad arrows indicating sold from Canadian stores, other side has DC in a diamond indicating Dominion of Canada issue. Sling swivels, ramrod.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
