Main Description: Bead front sight, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, side lock marked CVR Enfield 1861 with checkered spur hammer that functions. One piece smooth half length wood stock, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate with unmarked tang, Enfield roundel on right side with 53 C-Broad arrow/L 5/09 date. Left side has DC in a diamond indicating Dominion of Canada Issue. Single barrel band, ramrod channel filled with wood.
Wear: Metal finish shows pitting, light rust speckles, handling marks and wear. Stock shows marks, scratches and wear.
