Main Description: Manufactured by Enfield 1861. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, breechblock finish is silver grey, lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, cracked behind lock and receiver on left side, smooth steel butt plate, tang marked 3/57 Third Battalion Victoria Rifles of Canada OR Third Prince of Wales Canadian Dragoons. Enfield roundel on right side of stock, both sides have DC in a diamond indicating Dominion of Canda Issue. Sling swivels, ramrod and bayonet lug.

Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light pitted spots, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
