Main Description: Manufactured by BSA Co 1866. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, barrel, receiver and stock have double broad arrows indicating sold from stores. Lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, forearm channel chipped, straight grip, smooth steel butt plate with unmarked tang, right side of stock has BSA Co roundel 3/1884 unit marked V/H2/55, left side of stock has DD 9/1867 HGA/312. Sling swivels, cleaning rod, bayonet lug.
Wear: Metal finish turning silver grey with light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
