serial #3-4400068/416888, 7x57R, 23 1/2" barrels with bright, excellent bores. The barrels, top lever, and trigger assembly retain about 99% original blue with a few light handling marks. The coin finished frame rates excellent and features factory etched deer game scenes on either side. The walnut stocks rate excellent as well and feature skip-line checkering to the forearm and pistolgrip buttstock. The buttstock also features a left side cheek rest and has the factory hard rubber buttplate. The original sights remain intact and mounted via a factory base is a European BMB 3-9x38mm riflescope. The scope features a German No. 4-style reticle with excellent optics. Rifle also features set triggers and sling swivels. The original box is included which includes a factory hang-tag and a tooled leather sling. This is an excellent condition European-styled sporting rifle package.
