A tour-used Jan-Al ATA keyboard flight case used by the Black Eyed Peas during The E.N.D. World Tour era — designated "Keyboard #4" in the band's touring inventory and custom fitted to house the Korg MS2000B analog synthesizer/vocoder (offered separately as Lot 36). The case retains a Qantas Airways international air cargo waybill routing it to Auckland, New Zealand (AKL) via Singapore, and two Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SatS) security seals — physical documentation of its travel on the Asia-Pacific leg of the world tour.

Historical Context

The Black Eyed Peas — comprising will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie — were among the most commercially dominant acts in the world during the 2009-2011 period, driven by The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010). Their touring and broadcast appearances during this era included the 2011 Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show, the 2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve (December 31, 2009), the 2010 American Music Awards, the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and numerous major international festival and arena performances. The E.N.D. World Tour ran from 2009 through 2011 and was one of the most technically elaborate production tours of its era.

This case was built to transport the Korg MS2000B synthesizer (see also Lot 36). The Asia-Pacific touring leg documented by this case's labels included dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia — with the Qantas waybill routing the case through Singapore to Auckland confirming its presence on this leg of the global production. The total shipment count of 73 pieces recorded on the waybill reflects the logistical scale of a major arena touring operation.

Touring Documentation

The case retains the following original touring labels and markings:

— Interior lid label: "Key Board #4" handwritten in black marker on masking tape, confirming the case's designated inventory position within the band's keyboard rig

— "BEP" white stencil marking on exterior front face — the band's standard touring inventory identification

— Qantas Airways air cargo waybill affixed to exterior: Airline/Agent: QANTAS AIRWAYS LTD; Air Waybill No.: 081-3727 9863; Destination: AKL (Auckland, New Zealand); House Air Waybill Agent: Singapore Air PTE LTD; Total No. of Pieces: 73

— Two SatS (Singapore Airport Terminal Services) security seals reading "SatS / one with you / SECURITY CHECKED," bearing bag numbers 094551 PK and 094569 PK respectively — confirming security screening at Singapore Changi Airport during transit

— Jan-Al Cases manufacturer identification plate on exterior: "JAN-AL CASES / MADE IN THE U.S.A." with serial number 09 10334
