Bird Tail's name is found written on this carbine in togia. Bird Tail was born to Hunkpapa parents and belonged to Iron Horn's band and rode with Iron Horn at the battle of Rosebud and Little Bighorn. After the battle they followed Sitting Bull into Canada and later surrendered in 1881.
