This trip includes one exciting excursion each day for the two of you, which can be fishing remote jungle rivers for Snook, Permit, Jacks Snapper, Grouper and Barracuda - no seasickness or big water on this trip! Other activities include a perfect rope swing from trees along the Moho River; paddle upstream in a kayak under the jungle canopy and float back down to your Cabana in the trees; visit a spice farm, or maybe visit the many Mayan ruins in the area; take a 30-foot jump from a waterfall or learn to make chocolate bars on a cacao tour. Receive a complementary welcome Massage - and book a full body chocolate massage; visit the small town of Punta Gorda on market day and see the vast array of local fruits, vegetables and fish. The Cotton Tree Lodge is totally off grid, using mainly solar power. They raise fresh crops, harvest local wild fruits, and even tend their own flocks of chicken and goats. Your cabanas are nested 16 feet above the ground and perched along the slow-moving Moho River. After you have enjoyed a 4-course evening gourmet meal prepared by our chef fall asleep to the sounds of the howler monkeys and the sounds of the jungle. This and more awaits you - one of the only places in the world where you can get a full body chocolate massage overlooking a beautiful Jungle river! This adventure is to be scheduled for 2023 or 2024 and may be upgraded to include additional participants ($5,995 per couple – kids under 12 years of age $100 per day/per person). Accommodations during this adventure will be tree top cabanas (16 feet above the ground). The trip arrival and departure points are Punta Gorda, Belize (Participants should fly to Belize International Airport and connect to Punta Gorda Regional Airport (approximately $350 per person). Bidder further acknowledges that all credit card purchases shall be in the amount of the high bid submitted plus a 3% bank administrative fee and that in the instance of the purchase of physical items.

By submitting an electronic bid in the DSC Great Lakes Regional Chapter virtual auction on March 2023, bidder acknowledges that all bids submitted are legally binding offers to purchase and, if accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, constitutes a legally bidding contract between the bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter. Once submitted, no bid may be removed. The auctioneer is the sole authority in establishing specific bid increments, the high bidder (purchaser), and the amount bid. Successful bidder acknowledges further that, should their bid be accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, they are legally responsible to consummate the sale not later than the 12:00 a.m. the date immediately following the auction sale. All auction sales shall be considered consummated only be means of making payment in full via credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Bidder further acknowledges that all credit card purchases shall be in the amount of the high bid submitted plus a 3% bank administrative fee and that in the instance of the purchase of physical items, buyer shall be solely responsible for packaging, shipping and insurance expenses and/or the expense of the transfer of firearms from a local, licensed FFL holder to a FFL holder of the buyers choice.
Specific goods and/or services described in the official auction offering constitute the full and complete agreement between the high bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors, donors and Dallas Safari Club, individually and/or collectively. The DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject any bid offered on an item identified in the auction item description as having a reserve bid.
Neither the DSC - Great Lakes Regional Chapter, specific hunt donors and/or Dallas Safari Club guarantee or warrant that trophy animals of any species, or that any animals of any quality, will be taken on any hunt/trip offered for sale by means of the Chapter auction.
Consummation of an auction purchase, as described above, is an acknowledgement that the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors and/or Dallas Safari Club affirm that they have not in any manner inspected good/services sold via auction. Further, buyer is advised to secure a competent inspection of firearms, archery equipment, knives, ammunition, and weapons of any manner prior to use. All goods are sold as is without any warranty of any type, of faults and/or defects of any manner. All warrantees and/or guarantees for all goods and/or services are those provided solely by specific manufactures.
All services sold by means of the auction have been secured from, and are to be provided by, third parties. No services of any kind are to be provided directly by the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter or by Dallas Safari Club. DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club bear no responsibility/liability for the delivery or quality of services of any item sold by means of the auction or any loss or damage arising from, or connected to, performance or non-performance of any service purchased by means of the auction. Further, purchaser acknowledges that actions of governmental agencies, foreign or domestic, are beyond the control of the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and/or Dallas Safari Club. As such, DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club make no guarantees/warrantees related to services disrupted and/or not performed as a result of any action taken by any governmental agency.
