Original hand drawn pencil storyboard (The fall of joker from Gotham cathedral) drawn used on the production of the Tim Burton directed superhero film 'Batman' (1989) where, the Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being the clownishly homicidal Joker.

The film stars Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne / Batman, alongside Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl, Pat Hingle, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Gough and Jack Palance.

Julian Caldow is a English conceptual designer and storyboard artist that worked on Batman. Caldow created the original designs for the Batwing and Batmobile. He also created the Spring-Action Reel and its attachments. These would be adapted into the comics as the now widely-used Grapple Gun.
Caldow returned to the franchise to design the Batcave and Russian Black Site in The Flash.
