Cal. 5.45x39. S# R001934. Bbl. 16". A NODAK Spud stamped receiver is the element that brings what appears to be an original Bulgarian AK-74 back to live another day. From the correct oversized muzzle brake, to the properly inlet shoulder stock, even including the reddish-brown checkered plastic pistol grip, everything other than the receiver screams “ComBloc”! Chambered in the fabled 5.45x39 rd. thought by many to be far superior to the more common loadings. Satin black receiver w/ dark matte black top cover. Tapco trigger. Right hand muzzle threads for larger 24mm accessories. On board cleaning rod captive through the dual bayonet lugs. Left side sling swivels front & rear. Metal buttplate w/ spring loaded compartment trapdoor. CONDITION: obviously a ComBloc parts kit assembled on a US receiver, so the finish may not match all parts as would be expected. There are some marks earned during either disassembly of the original gun or reassembly of this gun of the gas block coinciding w/ cross pins. Stocks have arsenal typical dents & impression, but nothing that appears to influence structural integrity. It appears the spring is broken on the mag. release, as it is currently free floating. Bore is shiny w/ good rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-700/JZ). MODERN. $400-600.
