Main Description: Manufactured by Tower 1861. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched rear sight with one fixed and two folding leafs, some blueing remains, side lock marked Crown VR with checkered spur hammer that functions. One piece smooth full military wood stock, ramrod channel is chipped and cracked, straight grip with small crack behind lock, left side retains saddle ring and bar, smooth brass butt plate with unmarked tang, partial roundel on right side of stock, toe of stock has partial name on it. Two barrel bands, captive ramrod.
Wear: Metal finish shows some light rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks scratches and wear.
