Main Description: Manufactured by The London Small Arms Company, This rifle has commercial Crown V and other proof marks, lock is marked London Small Arms Company LTD Old Ford Bow, the only military marking is on the side lock which is a Broad Arrow. Blade front sight with ramp, adjustable u notched ladder rear sight, some blueing remains, breechblock marked Snider Patent, checkered spur hammer functions, has the nipple protector. One piece smooth full military wood stock, straight grip, smooth brass butt plate with unmarked tang, right side of stock has London Small Arms stamp with four small wood plugs (possibly had a presentation plate with four plugged holes remaining). Sling swivels, three barrel bands, ramrod.

Wear: Metal finish shows a few light pitted spots, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stock shows some marks, scratches and wear.
