Cal. approx. 65. NSN. Bbl. 9”, has 2 British proof marks on the left side near the breech. Lock is marked under the pan w/ a crowned “GR” & a broad arrow proof. The word “TOWER” appears at the rear of the lock just behind a sliding safety bar. Brass trigger guard, butt cap, sideplate & nosecap. Iron swivel ramrod. English walnut stock. CONDITION: bbl. has been heavily cleaned & has a medium gray peppery finish. Lock has an overall darkened finish. Mechanism holds both full & half cock. Ramrod functions. Brass has a mellow patina. Wood shows numerous dents & dings but no major problems. Good bore. (01-17362/BF). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
