SOUVENIR GERMAN MAUSER BAYONET. Two fine WWII edged weapons. Commando knife exhibits blued 6" blade, iron crossguard, metal grip w/ brass pommel. Crossguard is marked w/ a "broad arrow" proof above a sm. number "8". There is a raised sm. number "3" cast on top of grip. Accompanying commando knife is a K98 Mauser bayonet w/ bright blue blade marked "41 CVL FOR WKC". Blade retains most of its original bright blue, S# 7229" w/ scabbard "7643". CONDITION: both edged weapons are fine-very fine overall, as are accompanying sheathes. The British commando knife has paper taped over 2 leather tabs, as can be seen in photos.
