ACTION RIFLES. 1) BNZ (STEYR) MODEL 98K BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 6487. Bbl. 23 5/8". All visible numbers match except bolt release & upper band. Import marked on left side of bbl. Receiver marked on top "BNZ 41" indicating mfg. at Steyr. Turned down bolt handle. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Inverted V front sight w/ protective hood. Cleaning rod is present. All milled furniture except stamped cup buttplate. Laminated stock set w/ steel takedown hole. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching Mitchell's Mausers box, letter of provenance & manual. CONDITION: very good arsenal rework finish on wood & metal w/ bright shiny bore. Good lightly worn bbl. w/ legible eagle markings. (19-5911/RW). 2) RADOM SPORT M1948 BOLT ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 22 LR. S# AB16586. Bbl. 24 1/2". Numbers match on bolt & bbl. Import marked on left side of receiver. Training rifle mfg. at Radom in Poland used for training & sports (1948-1958). Rnd. unmarked receiver. Bbl. is marked over chamber "11" in oval, "1954". Tangent rear sight graduated to 1000m. Hooded post front sight. Provision for "dog collar" type sling. Hardwood stock set. CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear, dents, staining & scratches throughout. Handguard is notably darker w/ flaking finish. Metal has 80% blue w/ light wear & scattered scratches.
