Original Kandarian Dagger with snake shaped handle used in the Sam Raimi developed comedy horror television series 'Ash vs Evil Dead' (2015 2018) where Ash has spent the last thirty years avoiding responsibility, maturity, and the terrors of the Evil Dead until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash becomes mankind's only hope.
It is set in Raimi's Evil Dead universe, with Bruce Campbell reprising his role as Ash Williams, and acts as a sequel to the original trilogy.
The Kandarian Dagger (also known as The Demonic Dagger, The Champion's Bane, and The Blade of Ereshkigal) was an ancient weapon discovered by Professor Raymond Knowby during the exploration of the ruins of Castle Kandar. Since its rediscovery, it has fallen into many hands who have used it to combat the forces of evil.
