Roman Imperial Coinage - bronze sestertius of Philip I the 'Arab' (244–249 AD), Rome mint, RIC 168a, 12.81g. Obv: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right; legend IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG. Rev: Annona standing left, holding cornucopia and corn ears, letters S (not visible) and C on either side; legend ANNONA AVG visible in parts around.
