Satavahanas, heavy weight lead coin of 'Gajalakshmi' type, attributed to Siri Satakani (100-50 BC), Newase-Paithan region, MCSI no. 139, 30.81g. Obv: Goddess Lakshmi, standing on lotus, and being lustrated by elephants on lotus on either side, traces of legend above. Rev: Tree with broad leaves within a railing, ancillary symbols around.
