Ancient Vatsa region - uninscribed cast coinage of Kaushambi area, (c.200-150 BC), two coins of symbolic types, 4.52g and 2.95g respectively. (A) circular shape (PAIC 1104) - Obv: triangle-headed standard, elephant with Swastika and six armed symbol above. Rev: tree-in-railing, three-arched hill with crescent to right, open cross to left. (B) semi-circular shape (PAIC 1105) - Obv: elephant walking towards triangle-headed standard with six-armed symbol above. Rev: tree-in-railing, 'three-arched hill with crescent to right, open cross to left. (2 coins)
