Ancient Malwa, Vidisha region - post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck coin, (c.200-150 BC), not listed in PAIC, 6.82g. Obv: six-armed symbol in centre, other symbols around; obliterated partly under the motif of lotus counterstruck on the flan. Rev: silhouette of a human figure, standing facing, holding a staff (partly seen).

Very fine, Very scarce.

The 'lotus' countermark in all likelihood suggests the appropriation of this issue by the city-state of Bhagila.
