Terracotta sealing, Middle Gangetic Valley (Kaushambi area) with a Swastika in the centre and Brahmi legend Jethamitasa divided by a triangle-headed standard inscribed clockwise around it, (c.100-50 BC), 10.96g.

Extremely fine, Very rare.

The name Jethamita or Jyeshthamitra also occurs on local monarchical coins from the Kaushambi area. It is plausible that the bearer of the seal was the same person.
