Obv: Bust of king with curly hair to right, wearing large ear ornaments and a jewel on the head; Brahmi legend Raño Vasithiputasa…Satakanisa around. Rev: Dynastic emblem composed of six-arched hill, sun, crescent, modified 'Ujjain' symbol and wavy line; Southern Brahmi legend Arahanaku Vahittiputa…takanaku around.
Very fine, Extremely rare.
Drachms of Vijaya Satakani are amongst the rarest of the 'portrait' type silver coinage issued by the Satavahanas.
