Post-Mauryan tribal republics - Yaudheyas, copper coin struck in the name of 'Brahmanya Deva' as tutelary deity of the clan (c.50BC-50AD), PAIC 1630/31, 7.00g. Obv: single-headed Karttikeya standing facing holding a javelin, with hand on hip; traces of Brahmi legend around. Rev: deer facing left, a temple to left; Shrivatsa, Swastika and a vase (Kalasha) above.
