Maharathis of the Central Karnataka region - 'Elephant'-type lead coin of Maharathi Sivakuhana, (c. 2nd-3rd cent. AD), PAIC 2160, 15.94g. Obv: elephant in profile standing facing left with an ornamental triangle-headed standard above it back; Brahmi legend (…thisa) Sivakuhanasa along the margin. Rev: tree-in-railing in 3-dimensional perspective.
