Good very fine, Very rare.

The 'Varuni' group of Maharathis is a relatively new entrant to the field of Deccan numismatics. Unknown even only a few years ago, their coins are now known in many varieties. They are issued by Chulavaruni and Pusavaruni, who appear to have succeeded each other in that order, and might have wrested control from the Satavahanas in the final decades of their fragmentation.
