Kushans - copper quarter unit of Kanishka (c.127-150 AD), 'Sakyamuni Buddha' type, Goebl 788, 5.28g. Obv: king standing to left, holding trident, performing sacrifice; traces of Bactrian legend around. Rev: Buddha standing facing, making the gesture of reassurance with right hand; Bactrian legend SAKAMANO BO… to right and tamgha to left.

Good very fine for the type, Extremely rare.

Quarter units of the 'Buddha' type are extremely rare with only a few specimens known to exist.
