Hunnic / early Turk Shahi period - anonymous 'Damma' coinage of Gandhara region, (c.600-700 AD), Fishman 'Dammas' GA16 second series, 1.18g. Obv: stylized 'lotus' design with Brahmi letters Cha? and Ku / Kra. Rev: blank.

Extremely fine, Very rare.

The first 'letter' on the coin looks more like a crescent but Fishman suggests it to be a form of the Brahmi 'Cha'. The coin belongs to a subsidiary series which does not have the letter 'Ha'.
