Gupta Empire, gold dinar of Samudra Gupta (350-375 AD), 'Standard/Javelin' type, Altekar: Plate II no.1, 7.76g. Obv: King standing left, holding a royal standard and sacrificing at an altar; Garuda standard behind the altar and traces of Brahmi legend around. Rev: Goddess lakshmi seated on throne holding diadem and cornucopia with tangha to left with Brahmi legend Parakramah in the right field.
