Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Tapi-Wainganga Valley region, western borders of the ancient Vidarbha region, ½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (400-350 BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.68g. Obv: Four punches in ABBC configuration: 1x elephant facing right, 1x turtle with dots and circles & 2x circle surrounded by four dots and crescents. Rev: Traces of an undertype (2 x '3-Y' symbols visible).
