Archaic silver punch-marked coin, Tapi-Wainganga Valley region, usually attributed to 'Vidarbha/Ashmaka Janapada', ½ Karshapana, ABBC configuration, (400-350BC), not listed in Rajgor, 1.61g. Obv: Four punches, 1x elephant facing to left, 2x six solid ellipsoids around a circle with dot at its centre, 1x crescent with dots underneath. Rev: Traces of an undertype (2x six-petal flowers visible).
